The official dedication and awareness of the Foundation at the home village of the founder took place on the 30th December, 2018 at Akunu-Akoko, Ondo State Nigeria. The Foundation was dedicated to God at St Andrews Anglican Church – the founder’s home Church. The concept of the Village Education Project was unveiled to the entire community at Akunu Grammar School, the high school that the founder attended.
Owing to the fact that “charity begins at home” the founder addressed and explained to the community why his community and alma mater are being adopted as the pilot project for the Village Education Project. Amongst other dignitaries at the event are the community leaders, traditional leaders, and religious leaders. He enlightened the community on the need for villages to have access to quality education and encouraged the community to support and cooperate with the Foundation’s various projects.
